IDPD 2023 Year in review

The theme for IDPD 2023 is “United in action to rescue and achieve the sustainable development goals for, with and by persons with disabilities”. These goals include:  No poverty; zero hunger; improved health and wellbeing; gender equity; and reduced inequality. All which can be improved with a Canada Disability Benefit.

Join Disability Without Poverty to celebrate what went well, the challenges and the opportunities we faced these past 12 months.  It has been quite a year! From getting Bill C-22 passed to launching Shape the CDB, our quest to get money into your pockets continues!

Disability Without Poverty is a grassroots movement led by people with disabilities with an invitation for all Canadians to join us in continuing to push the federal government to make the Canada Disability Benefit a reality now! We want people with disabilities to be prosperous, realize our power, pursue our passions and participate in every aspect of society.
