Bruce Bonyhady

Professor Bonyhady is the Executive Chair and Director, Melbourne Disability Institute at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Bruce is one of the key architects of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and was the Inaugural Chair of the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) from 2013 to 2016. He is widely regarded as the “father of the NDIS’. 

His current work revolves around implementing needed changes brought forward from a major review a year ago.

Professeur Bonyhady est président-directeur du Melbourne Disability Institute à l’Université de Melbourne, en Australie. Bruce fait partie des principaux architectes du National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) et a été le premier président de la National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) de 2013 à 2016. On le considère généralement comme l’« instigateur du NDIS ».

Il œuvre actuellement à l’instauration de changements nécessaires issus d’un examen important mené il y a un an.
