Brittany Finlay 

Brittany (she/her) holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from McGill University and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Calgary. She is currently a Senior Research Associate and the External Relations Coordinator with the Disability Policy Research Program at the University of Calgary. Brittany’s work focuses on understanding how to design policy and social supports to better meet the needs of children, youth, and young adults with disabilities across Canada through research and engagement with interest holders (including with individuals with lived experience and their families).

Brittany (elle) est titulaire d’un baccalauréat en neurosciences de l’Université McGill et d’une maîtrise en politique publique de l’Université de Calgary. Elle est actuellement assistante de recherche principale et coordinatrice des relations externes au Disability Policy Research Program de l’Université de Calgary. Son travail vise à comprendre comment concevoir des politiques et des mesures de soutien social qui répondent davantage aux besoins des enfants, des jeunes et des jeunes adultes en situation de handicap dans l’ensemble du Canada en menant des recherches et en militant auprès des personnes concernées (y compris les personnes ayant une expérience vécue et leurs familles).
