Bianca Okine 

Bianca Okine (she/her) is the Manager of Social Development at the New Society Institute. Through research and advocacy, she works towards identifying and dismantling social and structural barriers that prevent individuals from accessing equity in society, contributing to an overall framework that creates social and systemic change. She engages in social justice research, community program design, develops strategies, tools, and recommendations to develop holistic methods that can strengthen the most systemically marginalized communities across Canada.

Bianca Okine (elle) est directrice du développement social à l’Institut Société Nouvelle. Par ses activités de recherche et de militantisme, elle œuvre pour cerner et démanteler les obstacles sociaux et culturels qui empêchent les personnes d’accéder à l’équité dans la société, contribuant à un cadre général qui crée un changement social et systémique. Elle mène des recherches sur la justice, conçoit des programmes communautaires et élabore des stratégies, des outils et des recommandations de conception de méthodes holistiques qui peuvent renforcer les communautés les plus systématiquement maginalisées à l’échelle du Canada.
