Content warning:

Disability Without Poverty’s Shape the CDB project captured the voices of disabled Canadians living in poverty. We actively sought the opinions of the hardest-to-reach communities including: 2SLGBTQ+, racialized,  Indigenous, refugees, homeless, incarcerated or formerly incarcerated, veterans, institutionalized, and Northern communities. Many of these stories are difficult to hear. But our job is not only to listen, but to help them be heard.

The film we are screening contains conversations related to childhood trauma, sexual abuse, violence, gangs, incarceration, drug addiction, bullying and suicidal ideation.
